OUR VISION

At Tenants of LA we strive to:

1. Empower and organize tenants facing uninhabitable living conditions

2. Provide tenants with informative resources including legal aid referrals

3. Educate tenants about their rights 

4. Organize tenants who are facing building-wide issues to decrease tenant harassment and eviction

Tenants of Los Angeles was started as a direct response to the increasing number of people who are experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County. While we take pride in the diverse identities throughout our county, we are concerned about the increasing number of distressed tenants. Our vision is to educate tenants about their rights and for them to utilize their rights in order to empower their rights for justice.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our organization is dedicated in fighting for tenants and their rights.
